Automatic Overband Unloader

The automatic overband unloader (magnetic plate) empties retort baskets at high-speed. This may involve steel cans but also jars and bottles sealed with a steel cap. The layers of cans are magnetised and then taken to a discharge belt or realigned.

• On the semi-automatic version, the operator only has to remove the layer pads.
• The automatic version is fully automated.

Our basket loader allows you to store several retort baskets. It feeds the unloader over a long period via a mechanised system. This option also increases output.

304L stainless steel design.

Your automatic overband unloader will be sized a your baskets and trolleys. It is better to have just one basket size as well as basket base plates of 5 to 8 mm thick.

The content of the baskets is typically lifted using our stainless steel lifting tables, designed and manufactured in our workshops. If the lifting table cannot pass through the trolley + basket combination, a submerged jack can be installed.

Note that this machine is multi-format, which means that cans of different sizes and heights can be handled. This machine is multi-format in terms of both containers and baskets.

We propose equipment made from 304 stainless steel because canning zone is tough for the machines. The lifting tables that we install are designed and manufactured specifically for your workshop to address your needs.

If it is not possible to magnetise your products, we can offer you our semi-automatic or automatic unloader. For small-scale production units or niche lines, we recommend our manual unloader.
